Admission

All high school students are able apply to the McMurry Dual Credit Academy. Your high school may be a preferred dual credit partner or you may take courses at McMurry Dual Credit Academy on your own. Homeschool students are welcome!

Begin your McMurry Dual Credit Academy journey today. The following items are required to be consider for admission to the academy.

For students enrolled at a DCA partner school:

1. Submit a free Dual Credit Academy application.
2. Once you have applied, your high school counselor will electronically send your Dual Credit enrollment endorsement and high school transcript on your behalf.
3. Access your application portal to receive updates, next steps, and to register for your upcoming semester.

For homeschool students:

1. Submit a free Dual Credit Academy application.
2. Enter “Texas Home Schooled” on the Academic History portion of the application.
3. Enter a parent or guardian’s contact information on the Dual Credit Recommendation section.
4. The parent or guardian listed on your application will be emailed a recommendation form to endorse your dual credit application and upload a copy of your high school transcript.
5. Parent or guardian uploads high school transcript to recommendation form.
6. Access your application portal to receive updates, next steps, and to register for your upcoming semester.

Once your endorsement and transcript have been received, you will be approved and eligible to register for classes.
