About the Transition
Beginning May 6, we will be moving away from our previous Learning Management System, Moodle, to begin using Canvas. We believe Canvas will offer a more intuitive, user-friendly experience for you, and we’re starting with 2024 Summer 1 classes.
On May 6, all students can create their Canvas account and start to get familiar with the program through several training courses. You will still have access to your Moodle account through the end of June.
McMurry faculty has already completed Canvas training and our Learning Experience office will be ready to assist everyone through this switch. However, this is a big change, and we want to stress that there may be some hiccups as we adjust. That said, we believe Canvas will be an overall improvement to our current system, and we look forward to helping everyone through the change.
