McMurry University Campus

Academic Success

McMurry University believes in empowering its students with the knowledge and confidence to be successful on campus. We understand that every student has different obstacles they may have to overcome to do so. Thus, Academic Success Coaches are here to help create a personalized success plan for each student. Success Coaches will work together with their student to navigate any obstacle that may arise or answer any questions a student may have.

What is a Success Coach

Every student will have an Academic Success Coach from start to finish at McMurry University. The first point of contact with a Success Coach will be at SOAR.

Your success coach will serve as your point of contact for any questions you might have throughout your time at McMurry University. Especially in your first year when everything is new, your success coach can help you navigate university policies and procedures, lend support, and get you connected with other available resources on campus.
