Incoming students begin their First Year Experience at SOAR.
At this event you will:
- Be welcomed!
- Begin to build relationships with other new and returning students
- Learn about McMurry spirit, history, and traditions
- Explore major areas of study and chat with faculty
- Meet with academic advisors to generate a fall course schedule
- Review your assistance with Financial Aid Officers
- Receive your student identification card
- Discover the many ways to engage in campus life and student activities
- Be informed about student support programs and services
- Access and try out campus recreation facilities
- Spend the night to get a glimpse of residential life
Students must have been admitted to McMurry and submitted an enrollment deposit to register. Transfer students are welcome to attend, but will have a separate, individual appointment with an Academic Advisor to register for classes.
