McMurry University presented three area high schools teams with prize money for participation in year two of the Johnson School of Business Media Competition. Taking the top prize home of $7,500 was a team from Wylie High School with two teams from ATEMS High School placing second and third earning $3,500 and $3,000. Participants were tasked with polling McMurry JSOB students about the advantages of a business education as well as where they are most likely to see messaging. Over thirty students participated between the three teams. Submissions included a one minute video, a social media strategy, and a unique slogan.

The students researched and even toured the McMurry campus to learn more about the University including academic courses that are offered. The campaign was designed by the Johnson School of Business as an opportunity to gain real-world experiences in research, planning, digital and video design, and presentation skills.
