Living on Campus

Live at the center of the McMurry experience

Living on campus places students in supportive living-learning communities grounded in friendship, cooperation, faith, and education.

McMurry offers Gold Star Hall, Martin Hall, Hunt Hall, and apartment-style housing for eligible upper-level students. All housing includes wireless and high-speed internet access.

Applying

After acceptance and the enrollment deposit, students receive McMurry login credentials by email. The $250 deposit includes a $150 enrollment deposit and a $100 housing deposit.

Room assignments are sent to the student’s McMurry email as leases are processed, typically beginning in late spring.

Housing Deposit & Application Process

Once students are accepted and have paid the required $250 deposit—$150 for enrollment and $100 for housing—they receive their McMurry login credentials by email.

After the housing application is received, Residence Life processes the lease and sends room assignments to the student’s McMurry email.

Bacterial Meningitis Vaccine

All first-time or transfer students must show evidence of vaccination against bacterial meningitis prior to class registration. The vaccination must be received at least 10 days before the first day of classes.

Review meal plan requirements, campus dining hours, guest meal pricing, and available dining options.

Meal Plans

All students living in on-campus residence halls are required to participate in a meal plan. Meal plans are optional for students living in on-campus apartments or off-campus.

Any changes to a meal plan must be made within the first five days of classes.

Meal plans may include Munch Money, which can be used for extra meals or food purchases at campus dining locations such as the Village Market, The Brew, The Grill, and the Cafeteria.
