International Students

1. Submit your free online application.
2. Submit official transcripts showing a complete academic history, including all courses taken and grades earned, from high school and any colleges attended. If your school is abroad, transcripts must be translated into English and include grading scales.
3. Submit a credential evaluation showing your U.S. GPA equivalent from an approved evaluation service.
   Approved evaluation services:
   • World Education Services (WES)
   • Scholaro
   • International Education Evaluations (IEE)
   • Education Credential Evaluators (ECE)
4. Submit proof of English proficiency if your native language is not English.
   Minimum requirements:
   • Duolingo English Test: 105
   • TOEFL: 213 computer-based, 550 paper-based, or 79 Internet-based
   • IELTS: 6.5
   • 24 transferable hours from a regionally accredited U.S. institution, including English 1310 and English 1320
5. Submit a copy of your passport.
6. SAT or ACT scores are not required unless they are being used as proof of English proficiency. Students are encouraged to submit scores if available.

After You Apply

Once all required materials are received, your application will be processed. Admission decisions will be posted in your secure application portal.

International students are encouraged to complete the admission process at least one month before the start of classes.

2. Pay the $50 non-refundable application fee. The fee is waived for McMurry alumni.
3. Submit official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended. Transcripts not issued in English must include an English translation.

6. Submit a copy of your passport.
7. Submit any program-specific materials. Individual graduate programs may require additional documents or information.

Next Steps

1. Apply for your F-1 Student Visa.
   After receiving your I-20 and paying the I-901 SEVIS fee, schedule an appointment with the U.S. Embassy or Consulate nearest you.
2. Coordinate your arrival.
   Once your visa is approved, contact your Admission Counselor to coordinate your travel plans and arrival on campus.
