Active Duty at Dyess AFB

Current active duty members stationed at Dyess AFB have multiple options for enrolling at McMurry. You may choose to enroll as a non-degree student to complete your CCAF associate degree through our BlueStreak Program or to work on an undergraduate degree as a transfer student.

Transferring Military Credit

McMurry University awards transfer credit for eligible military training documented on official Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) or Joint Services Transcripts (JST). Additional credit may be awarded after a comprehensive review of official transcripts.

Airman Leadership School

Students who complete Airman Leadership School may receive credit for:

SRLD 1310 Concepts and Techniques of Servant Leadership
COMM 1310 Principles of Communication

Non-Commissioned Officer Academy and Rank of TSgt

Students who complete the Non-Commissioned Officer Academy and hold the rank of TSgt may receive credit for:

PHIL 1300 Introduction to Ethics
MGMT 3310 Principles of Management

Basic Training

Current or former military service members who completed Basic Training may receive credit for:

HFIT 1210 Wellness for Living

Training from other military branches may be reviewed for comparable credit.

Official transcripts must be submitted to McMurry University for evaluation before credit can be awarded.
