Biography
Jack Reed lives in Midland, Texas, and is a retired Chief Financial Officer with more than five decades of experience across multiple industries, including commodities transportation, oil and gas drilling, software development, medical waste remediation, and real estate investment.
He attended Angelo State University and completed his studies in Accounting and Finance at Texas Tech University. Jack retired from his corporate role with Reliance Energy Inc. in 2017 but remains active in ranching, investments, and real estate development.
Jack is married to Rev. Janet Kay Reed, a licensed United Methodist pastor. They have been married for 56 years and have four children and six grandchildren. Their eldest son, Dr. Peter Reed, a former Trustee, and his wife, Tricia, are alumni of McMurry University. Their three younger children all hold graduate degrees from other universities.
