McMurry University looks forward to celebrating our December 2026 graduates and their accomplishments with family and friends. Please review the information below on the ceremony, rehearsal, academic regalia, and graduate participation as you prepare for Commencement.

For Graduates
Graduates participating in the December 2026 Commencement Ceremony should review the important dates and requirements below.
Commencement Rehearsal
Friday, December 11, 2026 · 4:00 p.m.
Attendance at rehearsal is required for graduates who wish to participate in the Commencement Ceremony.
Baccalaureate
There will not be a Baccalaureate Service for December graduates.
Cap & Gown Orders
Order deadline: October 22, 2026
Orders may be shipped directly to you for an additional shipping charge or shipped to McMurry University at no cost. Orders shipped to McMurry are expected to arrive around December 4.
A First-Generation Student Stole is also available for purchase.
Senior Exit Survey
Graduates will receive a Senior Exit Survey from SurveyMonkey. Please complete it as soon as possible. The survey confirms your participation in Commencement. Students who do not complete the survey will not have their name listed in the program or have a seat reserved for the ceremony.

Guest Tickets
Tickets are not required, and there is no limit on the number of guests a graduate may invite to the Commencement Ceremony.

Parking information and designated commencement parking locations will be shared as ceremony details are finalized. Guests are encouraged to review the event parking map before arriving on campus.
Accessible Parking
Accessible parking will be available for guests with limited mobility. Additional accessibility and arrival information will be posted here as it becomes available.
