McMurry University invites students and their families to campus for Family Weekend, September 18–20, 2026. Enjoy a full weekend of activities, including the Family Festival, Military Appreciation Tailgate, McMurry football, theatre, worship, and a community lunch.
Friday, September 18
- 3–5 p.m. | Garrison Campus Center
Family Weekend Check-In and Family Festival, hosted by Religious & Spiritual Life. - 11 a.m.–10 p.m. | Blue Sky
Enjoy burgers, fries, shakes, and an outdoor play area during a fundraiser benefiting the McMurry University Campus Activities Board.

Saturday, September 19
- 11 a.m.–1 p.m. | The Backyard
Military Appreciation Tailgate, hosted by the Veterans Club, featuring recruiters, food trucks, and veteran organizations. - 1–4 p.m. | Wilford Moore Stadium
McMurry Football vs. Huntingdon College. Active-duty service members, veterans, and their dependents receive free admission with a valid military ID. - 7:30 p.m. | Ryan Little Theatre
McMurry Theatre presents Medea, Euripides’ enduring Greek tragedy about betrayal, revenge, and devastating consequences.
Sunday, September 20
- 10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. | First Central Presbyterian Church
Family Weekend Worship, including coffee and donuts at 10:30 a.m., worship at 11 a.m., and a community lunch at noon.
