Calendar & Events

Join the McMurry University Veterans Club for a Veterans Day celebration honoring the service and sacrifices of America’s veterans.

The event will feature veteran and community organizations, military- and veteran-focused resources, activities hosted by campus organizations, patriotic card signing, a rock wall, military service branch flags, and an Abilene Fire Department fire engine and crew.

The event is free and open to McMurry students, employees, alumni, families, and members of the Abilene community.

The celebration will be held in the Quad. In the event of inclement weather, activities will move to the Campus Center.

Veterans Day T-shirt preorders are also available through October 19 at 11:59 p.m. CDT. Shirts are available for local pickup only, and all sales are final.
