Megan Breaux '14

Megan Breaux, Class of 2014, is making a difference as a secondary teacher at Wylie High School in Abilene. She teaches courses in Sports and Entertainment Marketing and Business Management as part of Wylie’s growing Career and Technical Education program.

Beyond the classroom, Megan leads and oversees The Purple Dog Company, Wylie’s student-run business, which provides students with valuable real-world experience in entrepreneurship and management.

Megan graduated from Clemson University in 2019 with a Master’s degree in Athletic Leadership. She loves sports – particularly McMurry athletics. For several years, she’s worked part-time in the athletic department and enjoys her time working games and cheering on the War Hawks!

She is excited to serve McMurry on the Alumni Board. “I am forever indebted to McMurry for all that it gave me as a student and continues to give me as a proud alumnus,” she said.
