Thierry Tchenko is the Chief Communications and Programs Officer for Rebuilding Together Houston. Before joining Rebuilding Together, Mr. Tchenko held roles in the Executive Office of the Mayor in Washington, DC. Mr. Tchenko’s last position before he transitioned to Houston was Associate Director of the Mayor’s Office of Policy. Prior to that, he served as Deputy Director of the Mayor’s Office on African Affairs.
While in Washington, DC, Mr. Tchenko also spent time as a fellow in the White House Office of Management and Budget. Additionally, Mr. Tchenko has worked on gubernatorial and presidential campaigns including President Biden’s 2020 campaign.
He earned his Master’s Degree from Georgetown University in Washington, DC and his Bachelor’s Degree from McMurry University in Abilene, Texas. Mr. Tchenko was born and raised in Houston, Texas.
