Jenny Terrell-Feenstra

Dr. Jenny Terrell-Feenstra is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry (UIWRSO). She serves in the capacity of co-director of the Community Eye Clinic in Fort Worth, Texas. The facility is a clinical rotation training site and partnership between UIWRSO and the University of Houston College of Optometry (UHCO). The Community Eye Clinic provides comprehensive eye health and vision services to patients in Fort Worth and the surrounding area, without restrictions on residency or insurance status.
She grew up in central Texas and, after earning her bachelor’s degree in Biology from McMurry, she graduated from UHCO, where she also completed a residency in Community-Based Family Practice Optometry.

Dr. Terrell-Feenstra has served in various leadership roles of professional organizations, including serving as the 2018-19 President of the Texas Optometric Association. She has volunteered for multiple vision outreach efforts, including children’s vision events and the Healthy Athletes Opening Eyes program of Special Olympics Texas.
Dr. Terrell-Feenstra and her husband, Nathan, a U.S. Army Veteran who now works in the banking industry, have two young children and a rescue dog.
