About the Program

The McMurry nursing program prepares graduates to serve as Registered Nurses in all specialties and as nursing generalists. Our School of Nursing is located just next to Hendrick Medical Center, the largest healthcare facility in the region serving 24 counties, which provides our students with dedicated space and close access to Hendrick facilities for their clinical rotations. With a 96% first-time NCLEX national licensure exam pass rate and full accreditation and approval through the Texas Board of Nursing and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, our goal is to prepare you for a successful career in nursing.

Area of Study

Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Our BSN program is nationally accredited and provides a rich foundation in patient-centered care. With a BSN, you are eligible to earn licensure as a Registered Nurse. BSN-prepared nurses qualify for entry-level positions in patient care that can lead to leadership roles in nursing. The degree also gives you the foundation to pursue specialty certification or graduate-level nursing degrees.

Completion of pre-requisite courses is required before entry into the BSN program.
