Homecoming FAQ
Here are some essential details to ensure you have the most incredible weekend. If you have any questions that aren’t answered below, please contact us at alumni.mcm.edu.
- Electronic tickets were emailed to ticket holders from McMurry Alumni.
- If you cannot locate your tickets in your email, you can visit Registration and Check-In, where we can assist you with your ticketing needs.
- You can refer to the email confirmation you received when you registered for Homecoming. This confirmation email should outline all the activities and events you purchased tickets for or indicated interest in.
- If you are unable to locate your confirmation email, you can visit Registration and Check-In, where we can look up your order, provide you with information about the events you’ve purchased tickets for, and resend tickets to your email or cell phone.
- The deadline to cancel tickets for a full refund is Monday, October 6. After this date, tickets become non-refundable. No refunds will be processed during Registration and Check-In.
- To cancel your registration and request a refund, please contact us via email at alumni@mcm.edu. In your email, be sure to provide the following ticket purchase details: your name, guest names (if applicable), the names of paid events, and payment amounts.

Limited Mobility
Accessible parking for individuals with mobility constraints will be available in the McMurry Court parking lot, situated between Radford and Maedgen buildings.

- There is a ramp at the Furr Welcome Center that provides access to Registration and Check In and Radford Auditorium.
- There is a ramp access to the Garrison United Methodist Campus Center as well as an elevator for second floor accessibility.
- There is an elevator located in the breezeway between Cooke and Old Main. This elevator provides access to Saturday reunions.
- Elevators are also located in Radford Hall.
Ideally, the primary registrant should check in for their own party. However, if there are circumstances where the primary registrant cannot be present, the Registration and Check-In staff can make an exception.
Yes, you can register for someone else if you are able to provide contact details and preferences of everyone in your party.
- Tickets will not be available for purchase at registration on campus or at the door due to the deadline for catering. You are welcome to attend the event, but know that food will not be available.
- Tickets for the Theatre Performances and Football Game will be available for purchase at the door.
- Reunion Breakfast: $10

- Football Game: $10
- Ryan Review: $35
- Official Homecoming t-shirts will be sold on Thursday and Friday at Registration and Check-In and at Saturday’s Tailgate.
- Spirit Store hours for Homecoming weekend are:
- Thursday and Friday from 8 A.M. to 5 P.M.
- Saturday from 9 A.M. through halftime and 6 to 8 P.M.
- You can purchase McMurry apparel through the McMurry Spirit Store online and have it shipped to your home.
We accept the following methods of payment for purchasing tickets and merchandise:
- Cash
- Checks made payable to McMurry University
- All card types and payment options. You can use various payment methods, including swiping, inserting, and tapping your card. Additionally, we also accept digital payment methods like Apple Pay and the Android equivalent.
Yes, blank name tags and markers are available at Registration and Check-In.
There are various places on campus where you can purchase food and drinks:
- Thursday and Friday: Lunch at “The Grill” and coffee at “The Brew” in the Campus Center
- Friday Evening: Food trucks at the Festival
- Saturday:

- Cafeteria
- Concession stand at the football game for snacks and refreshments
- During business hours, restrooms in all the administrative and classroom buildings will be available for use.
- After hours, open restroom locations will be indicated by restroom signs with arrows that point you in the direction of the facilities open during specific events.
In the event of rain:
- The festival will be moved to the Activities Gym.
- The Alumni Happy Hour will be moved to the Mabee Room.
- The fireworks will be rescheduled to a different date/time when weather conditions are more favorable.
- The Tailgate meal will be served in the campus center.
You are welcome to bring lawn chairs or a picnic blanket for seating and comfort as you enjoy the bonfire and concert.
- Alumni are invited to join students during the bonfire as they celebrate together around their own fires at the “Camp Out at Wah Wahtaysee.” Signage will identify the different clubs and organizations.
- The designated area for student organization booths, including social clubs/Greek frats and sororities, is on the Lawn behind the Library.
- No, there will not be food provided or for purchase at the Friday night bonfire or concert events.
- Attendees are encouraged to bring their own snacks and non-alcoholic drinks if they desire food during these late evening events.
- Alternatively, you can purchase dinner at the food trucks during the Festival between 5:00 PM and 7:30 PM if you prefer to have a meal before the late evening festivities.
The Saturday Reunion Breakfast will feature a selection of assorted breakfast foods such as fresh fruit, pastries, and quiches as well as a drink station with coffee, tea, and juice.
Breakfast for the Affinity Group Reunions will be served in the Breezeway between Cooke and Old Main. The different social clubs, Black Alumni Network, McMurry Student Government, and the Spirit Squad will have reunion spaces in the following locations:

- The Music Showcase is on Friday, October 10 at 3:00 p.m. in Ryan Recital Hall.
The Alumni Choir Rehearsal with Chanters is in Ryan Choir Room (106N) from 2:30-3:00 p.m.

Bringing your own chair is optional, but it can ensure that you have a seat available whenever you’d like one during the event. There will be limited seating available.
The War Hawks are playing against Lyon College, with the kick-off scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
It depends on your specific dietary requirements. There will be limited gluten-free options available at the Reunion Breakfast and Tailgate.
Yes, there is a Lost and Found service housed in Furr Welcome Center during the Registration and Check-In period.
