McMurry Homecoming Frequently Asked Questions

Tickets & Registration

Where can I find my Homecoming tickets?

McMurry Homecoming tickets are emailed to registered attendees from McMurry Alumni. If you cannot locate your tickets, visit Registration and Check-In for assistance.

How do I know which events I registered for?

Refer to your confirmation email, which includes all selected Homecoming events. If needed, staff at Registration and Check-In can look up your order and resend your tickets.

What is the refund policy for Homecoming tickets?

Tickets are refundable until the posted deadline. After that date, tickets are non-refundable. To request a refund, email alumni@mcm.edu with your name, your guests’ names, the events, and your payment details.

Can I register for someone else?

Yes. You may register others by providing their contact information and event preferences.

Can I check in for someone else?

The primary registrant should check in when possible. Exceptions may be made by Registration staff if necessary.

Can I attend an event without a ticket?

Tickets are not available for purchase onsite for most events due to catering deadlines. You may attend, but food is not guaranteed. Theatre performances and the football game may offer tickets at the door.

How much do Homecoming events cost?

Affinity Group Reunions: $10

Tailgate: $12

Homecoming Production: $25 presold / $30 at the door

Football Game: $20 reserved single game / $10 general admission / $5 general admission for children under 10

Who is playing in the Homecoming football game?

Howard Payne University.

Where are Affinity Group Reunions held?

Breakfast is in the Breezeway between Cooke and Old Main. Group locations will be assigned and shared at check-in.

Where do social clubs meet during Homecoming?

Bonfire: “Camp Out at Wah Wahtaysee” in club-designated areas.

Tailgate: Lawn behind the Library for organization booths.


Parking & Accessibility

Where should I park for Homecoming events?

Refer to the Homecoming campus map for designated event parking locations to ensure a smooth experience.

Is accessible parking available?

Yes. Accessible parking is available in the McMurry Court lot between the Radford and Maedgen buildings.

Where can I find elevators and accessible entrances?

Accessible routes include:

  • Furr Welcome Center ramp for Registration and Radford Auditorium
  • Campus Center ramp and elevator
  • Elevator between Cooke and Old Main for Saturday reunions
  • Elevators in Radford Hall

Where are the restrooms located during Homecoming?

Restrooms are available in campus buildings during business hours. After hours, signage will direct you to open facilities.


Food, Merchandise & Campus Services

Where can I purchase food and drinks on campus?

Options include:

  • The Grill & The Brew on Thursday and Friday
  • Festival food trucks on Friday
  • Reunion Breakfast, Tailgate, cafeteria, and concessions on Saturday

Will food be available at all events?

No. Food is not provided at the Friday bonfire or concert. Guests may bring snacks or purchase food earlier at the festival.

What is served at the Reunion Breakfast and Tailgate?

Breakfast: Grazing Breakfast

Tailgate: Pulled Pork Sandwich with Chips

Can I purchase Homecoming merchandise?

Yes. T-shirts are available at Registration and the Tailgate. Additional merchandise is available at the Spirit Store in person and online.

What payment methods are accepted?

Cash, checks, all major cards, and digital payments.

Can I exchange or purchase additional t-shirts?

  • Exchanges are not available.
  • Additional shirts may be purchased onsite.

What should I bring to outdoor events?

Bring lawn chairs or blankets for comfort during the bonfire and concert.

Do I need to bring a chair to the Tailgate?

Optional, but recommended due to limited seating.

Will dietary restrictions be accommodated?

Limited gluten-free options are available at select events.

Is there a lost and found?

Yes. Lost and found is located in the Furr Welcome Center during Registration and Check-In.

What if my nametag is incorrect?

Blank name tags and markers are available at Registration for corrections.
