What You Can Earn
Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Human Performance
The B.S. in exercise science and human performance prepares you well for an immediate career in the healthcare, fitness or sports performance. The degree also serves as the foundation of a pre-professional program in physical therapy, occupational therapy, or athletic training by tailoring your upper-level courses to your professional interest.
Bachelor of Science in Physical Education – All Levels
You’ll be ready to start your career as a physical education teacher, fitness instructor, trainer or coach. You’ll be equally well prepared to continue your studies in a master’s program.
A minor in Curriculum and Instruction is required for the B.S. degree.
Bachelor of Science in Sports Leadership and Management
If you see your future in health and wellness leadership, this degree offers a broad and balanced knowledge base. Encompassing the science of physical fitness and the impact of communications and leadership style on performance and well-being, you’ll be an effective coach wherever your career takes you.
Many exercise and human performance graduates go on to become physical therapists, chiropractors, occupational therapists and exercise scientists through additional study and certifications. Successful students can also find a home in fitness instruction, coaching, athletic training and nutritional training.
