Students who minor in Greek at McMurry have long been recognized as highly competitive applicants for graduate theological programs, garnering lucrative financial aid packages. Several have even been able to serve as Greek teaching assistants for graduate-level courses.

What You Can Earn

Minor in Greek

The requirement for this minor is 18 hours. Once you have satisfied your foreign language requirement, you will only need one four-hour class to complete the minor. Requirements include GREK 2410 and 2420: New Testament Greek Grammar I and II; and GREK 3310 and 3320: Greek Translation I and II.


Greek minors frequently pursue careers in ministry, but this course of study will provide educational depth that will serve you well in any career.
