What You Can Earn

Bachelor of Science in Physical Education – All Levels

You’ll be ready to start your career as a phys-ed teacher, fitness trainer, or coach. You’ll be equally prepared to continue your studies in a master’s program in your chosen area of interest. A minor in Curriculum and Instruction is required for the B.S. degree.

Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Human Performance

The B.S. in exercise science and human performance prepares you well for an immediate career in healthcare, fitness, or sports performance. The degree also serves as the foundation for a pre-professional program in physical therapy, occupational therapy, or athletic training, as it tailors your upper-level courses to your professional interests.

Bachelor of Science in Sports Leadership and Management

If you envision a future in health and wellness leadership, this degree provides a comprehensive and well-rounded knowledge base. Encompassing the science of physical fitness and the impact of communications and leadership style on performance and well-being, you’ll be an effective coach wherever your career takes you.

Careers

Your degree in physical education, with a minor in curriculum and instruction, prepares you to teach in the Texas public school system at the elementary and secondary level.
