FINANCIALLY SETTLE YOUR ACCOUNT

Your account is considered financially settled if:

  • Paid in full
  • Financial aid is completed by the due date and is sufficient to cover the outstanding balance.
  • Partial Payment of 25% is made on the remaining balance.
  • Entire balance due is covered by an approved and verified third party payment. (VA, Texas Tomorrow, Texas Workforce Commission and TA)
  • Nelnet Payment Plan in place and current (available for the Fall and Spring)
  • A combination of the above covers your outstanding balance

Review your statement frequently for any changes:

  • Only completed financial aid will show on your statement.
  • If you have been awarded additional aid that is not showing on your statement, contact Financial Aid to check the status of your disbursement.
  • Miscellaneous Expense after Financial Settlement (Traffic Fines, library fines, any miscellaneous charge) are billed as they are incurred. Payment in full is expected upon receipt.

Keep in Mind

  • Any outstanding balance after an anticipated third-party payment or not covered under a third-party agreement (VA, Texas Tomorrow, Texas Workforce Commission or TA) is due by the due date for each semester.

Spring/Summer 2025

A detailed statement for Spring 2025 will be available starting November 4th, 2024 on MyMcM. This is a preliminary statement. Any schedule, fee, financial aid, or housing change may impact the balance due and can be subject to change.

Students whose accounts are not settled by the date listed below will lose their schedule for that term.

How to make a payment

Mail

  • Send check or money order made payable to McMurry University
  • Be sure to include the student’s MCM ID, First Middle and Last Name of the student
  • Send to:

MyMCM Portal

  • If you have a valid login for McMurry Student Portal you can make payments from within MyMCM Portal.
  • McMurry University accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover and eCheck for payments submitted through Nelnet.
  • Payments are visible on student’s account as soon as payment is made.
  • To make a payment through Nelnet:
    1. Log in to your McMurry Portal
    2. Click Student Tab
    3. Click on Pay My Bill – Nelnet
    4. Click Pay Using Nelnet
