We offer a variety of Study Abroad opportunities designed to enrich your McMurry experience. Programs are open to students of all majors, and each trip counts as an upper-level elective that can be taken more than once. To help make your travels possible, scholarships are available for qualifying students.
Programs We Offer
Service
Service programs are generally between 8 and 12 days and are part of Global Brigades uniquely implemented holistic model to meet community’s health and economic goals. These programs can be student or faculty lead.
Discovery
Discovery programs are generally between 2 and 4 weeks and are taught by McMurry faculty members who travel with the students. These programs are faculty lead sightseeing adventures where we discuss the environment around us and question why things are what they are and what potential alternatives would be.
Cultural
Cultural programs offer a remarkable and exhilarating international experience that will allow students to immerse themselves in the local cultures of a variety of bucket list type destinations and experiences.
Student Scholar
Student Scholar programs offer students the opportunity for research purposes or to attend an international conference. The programs promote and encourage student participation in international research opportunities or participation in international conferences, meetings, and internships.
