International Payments

We have partnered with Flywire to offer an innovative and streamlined way to make international tuition payments. With Flywire you can pay from any country and any bank. You are also offered excellent foreign exchange rates, allowed to pay in your home currency (in most cases) and a save a significant amount of money, as compared to traditional banks.

To get started, select the country your funds will be coming from and the payment amount (in US Dollars) you wish to make your student bill.

  • In most cases, the US dollar amount will be converted into your home currency at preferential exchange rates, which will translate into savings for you.
  • After providing some basic information, you will book the transaction and will be instructed via email on how to send funds from your local bank to Flywire.
  • Flywire will then convert the funds to US dollars and forward the US dollar amount to McMurry University, where it will be directly credited to your student billing account.

Release of account information

FERPA is a federal law that protects the privacy of student’s education records. The law applies to all schools that receive funds under a program of the U.S. Department of Education.

  • The Student Accounts Office cannot release information regarding a student’s account to any person unless authorized by law or unless the student consents to the disclosure in writing.
  • If a student would like to provide permission for the Student Accounts Office to discuss his or her account with another individual, he or she should fill out a FERPA release form which can be picked up in the Student Accounts Office.
  • We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause when a FERPA release is not in place, but we appreciate your understanding and compliance with this important law.
