About Us
Corporate and Foundation Relations
The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations (CFR) facilitates relationships between McMurry University and private funding organizations, such as foundations and corporations. The CFR Office partners with faculty and staff across campus, seeking funding from nongovernmental organizations for various projects.
Private foundations are philanthropic entities that seek innovative solutions to local problems and challenges. McMurry University has relationships with and access to several charitable organizations whose mission is to benefit Abilene and the surrounding areas.
Corporate foundations typically align their giving with their parent companies’ values, business goals, and community interests. Some focus areas include education, health and wellness, economic development, and community outcomes.
Sponsored Programs and Research Compliance
Sponsored Programs and Research Compliance often works with federal or state funding opportunities, focusing on research and academic goals. This office is familiar with proposal development, compliance requirements, regulations, and guidelines associated with national, state, and local government-funded projects.
