The Aides to Teacher program is uniquely designed to provide working professionals in schools a flexible pathway towards a bachelor’s degree and teacher certification. Any teacher aide, para-professional, associate teacher, or school staff member can participate in the program to upskill and prepare for a rewarding career as a full-time teacher.

What You Can Earn
Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education
You’ll complete at least 120 credit hours, not including developmental courses. At least 39 hours will be at an advanced level. This degree requires a minor in curriculum and instruction for teacher certification in early childhood through grade 6. Transfer work is accepted and can be applied to the degree plan through the Aides to Teacher program.
Careers
Working with young children isn’t just rewarding, it’s also an excellent career choice.
