Do Something Good for Your Community

SERVICE as the Measure of Life

McMurry Serves is an annual tradition and a volunteer opportunity for McMurry alumni, students, faculty, staff, and families to come together as a community and serve others in Abilene, throughout Texas—and beyond!

No matter where you live, you can continue the tradition of giving back throughout the month of February, by volunteering and doing something good for your community or for those in need.

FIND or LEAD A Project Near You

Look for a project in your area that interests you. Volunteering for the project will take you through a free, one-time registration process. You will receive confirmation about the event. The day of the event, just show up and just serve!

No existing project fits your interests or your schedule? Lead your own!

Below are criteria for organizing a service project and project coordinator expectations. All projects will be reviewed prior to approval and inclusion on the McMurry Serves website. If you are interested in organizing a project in your area, please register your project at least two weeks before the event date.
