I Need to Submit My FAFSA

Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is an important step in preparing for college. The FAFSA determines eligibility for grants, scholarships, work-study opportunities, and federal student loans.

I’ve Been Admitted but Haven’t Paid My Deposit

Submitting your deposit secures your place in the incoming class at McMurry University. Once your deposit is received, you will gain access to SOAR registration, housing selection, and academic advising, and receive important updates about move-in and campus life. 

Completing your deposit early ensures you have access to the widest selection of SOAR dates and housing options.

I’ve Deposited and Need to Register for SOAR

Student Orientation and Registration (SOAR) is a mandatory event for all incoming first-year students. SOAR is designed to help you enroll in fall classes, complete your Financial Aid, and develop connections with students and staff who will assist you in your academic and personal journey.

Registration opens April 1, 2026.

2026 SOAR sessions will be held on:

  • Monday, June 15, 2026
  • Monday, June 29, 2026
  • Friday, July 17, 2026
  • Friday, August 7, 2026

Students should plan to attend one SOAR session. Additional details and registration information will be provided before each session.
