Dr. Wyatt is the project director for the following:
- Partnering for STEM Success, a Title V co-op grant funded by the U.S. Department of Education approved to increase the number of students enrolled in and completing STEM majors while increasing retention, transfer and graduation rates. Signature-approved activities include launching two new majors; developing an undergraduate research program in the sciences; creating a badge system to document skills, achievements and professional growth; and developing a program to increase the number of transfers seeking STEM majors from McMurry’s partner, Cisco College. - Building STEM Success, a Title V individual grant funded by the U.S. Department of Education approved for the development of one new major (engineering physics); a STEM Student Success Center (S3C) to increase STEM retention and graduation rates; facilities improvements; a Summer Bridge program; specialized assistance for students participating in experiential learning opportunities and preparing for careers; and a peer-assisted tutoring program for high-failure-rate courses.
