Welcome to the Jay-Rollins Library website.  The Library supports the academic programs of McMurry University by securing print and electronic materials to meet the needs of the curriculum; organizing and ensuring access to materials added to the Library’s collections; providing instructional, reference, circulation, course reserve, and interlibrary loan services; and cooperating with other libraries to make additional resources available.

The library provides access to a large collection of books, eBooks, databases, print periodicals, ejournals, media equipment, DVD’s and music CDs. The Ask a Librarian link accesses an online reference service 24/7. The Library is a member of the Abilene Library Consortium, which provides a shared catalog of over 2 million items and courier service between McMurry University, Abilene Christian University, Hardin-Simmons University, Howard Payne University (Brownwood, TX), and the Abilene Public Libraries.

Special collections include the J. W. Hunt Collection of Texana and the Southwest, the University Archives and the Yeats Collection.
