How to Apply
- Submit your free online application
- Submit official transcripts showing a complete academic history, including all courses taken and grades earned, from high school and any colleges attended. If your school is abroad, transcripts must be translated into English and include grading scales.
- Submit a credential evaluation from WES, Scholaro, International Education Evaluations (IEE), or Education Credential Evaluators (ECE) showing your US GPA equivalent.
- If your native language is not English, submit proof of:
a. Duolingo English Test score of at least 105
b. TOEFL score of at least 213 computer-based, 550 paper-based, or 79 Internet-based
c. IELTS score of at least 6.5 or
d. 24 transferrable hours from a regionally accredited U.S. institution, including English 1310 and English 1320 - Copy of Passport
- Scores from the SAT/ACT exams are not required, unless used as the Proof of English Proficiency, but are highly encouraged
After all items are received, application files will be processed. Admission decisions will be posted online within a student’s secure application portal. International students are encouraged to have the admission process completed at least one month prior to the start of classes.

Cost and Scholarships

Full-time undergraduate students are charged a block tuition rate and may take 12 to 18 semester hours without affecting the cost of tuition. Students must have the approval of the Vice President of Academic Affairs to take more than 18 hours a semester.

Indirect Costs that are additional personal costs that may be incurred while attending the University and are not charged to the student. Total indirect costs per year are estimated at $4,812. This includes transportation, personal costs, and average loan fees. Required books are included in the cost of tuition.

Scholarships
International undergraduate students may be eligible for merit scholarships based on their secondary school GPA, test scores, or transferable college GPA. Scholarships range from $16,000 – $18,000 and are renewable for four years. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis after admission. Post-baccalaureate students seeking a second degree are not eligible for institutional merit scholarships.
Interested international undergraduate students are encouraged to apply for the McMurry University Honors program. International students who are accepted into the honors program may receive additional aid. Eligible students may submit Honors applications through the application portal after being admitted.
