Purpose and Mission

 

Purpose

The purpose of the Club is to support, connect, and empower military veterans, active service members, and their allies within the McMurry University community.

Mission Objectives

  • Foster camaraderie and mentorship among student veterans and supporters.
  • Promote awareness and appreciation of military service within the campus community.
  • Facilitate veterans’ transition into academic and civilian life.
  • Engage in leadership, service, and community outreach initiatives.

As of January 2026, VA education beneficiaries must verify enrollment each month before monthly benefit payment processing can begin. Once verified, payment processing may take five to seven calendar days.
