Purpose and Mission

Purpose

The purpose of the Club is to support, connect, and empower military veterans, active service members, and their allies within the McMurry University community.

Mission Objectives

Foster camaraderie and mentorship among student veterans and supporters.
Promote awareness and appreciation of military service within the campus community.
Facilitate veterans’ transition into academic and civilian life.
Engage in leadership, service, and community outreach initiatives.

The McMurry University Veterans Club received the Outstanding Special Organization of the Year Award in recognition of its leadership, service, and impact on campus.

Veterans Club members came together at Abilene Veterans Cemetery to formally honor those who served.

President Daniel laid a wreath as part of the ceremony of remembrance.

After laying a wreath, Vice President Robert paused to pay his respects.
