BlueStreak Program
The BlueStreak Program helps active-duty Air Force members complete the General Education Courses required for a Community College of the Air Force degree. Students may also apply eligible coursework toward a four-year undergraduate degree at McMurry University or another institution.
Through BlueStreak, active-duty Air Force members can take select McMurry University courses at Dyess Air Force Base, on the McMurry campus, or online. Courses are offered in an accelerated eight-week format, with five to seven options typically available each fall and spring semester. Select courses may also be available during summer terms.
Who This Program Is For
The McMurry-Dyess Air Force Base Program is designed for active-duty Air Force members who need flexible course options while completing CCAF general education requirements or working toward a future bachelor’s degree.
- Active-duty Air Force members completing CCAF general education requirements.
- Air Force members planning to apply eligible coursework toward a bachelor’s degree.
- Students who need on-base, campus, or online course options.
- Students seeking an accelerated eight-week course format.
BlueStreak and Transfer Admission
Students enrolling only in selected BlueStreak courses for CCAF-related requirements may apply as non-degree students. This allows them to enroll in BlueStreak courses without submitting school transcripts or test scores typically required for degree-seeking admission.
Students who plan to complete a McMurry bachelor’s degree should follow the transfer admission process and submit official college transcripts.
For additional details, visit the McMurry University catalog page for the BlueStreak Program.
