Minor in Kinesiology
It’s said that movement is life, and that is what kinesiology is all about. The kinesiology minor provides you the knowledge of the human body’s structure and mechanics and how to optimize movement – whether to elevate athletic performance or help injury survivors recover function and independence.
Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies (B.I.S.)
The B.I.S. degree customizes your education to explore diverse career interests. You’ll determine the focus of your degree by selecting three disciplines from 20+ concentrations – including kinesiology, administration of coaching, business, psychology, servant leadership and more. The degree expands your knowledge of multiple disciplines while building practical skills to enhance your career prospects and aspirations.
Minor in Administration of Coaching
Coaching is a calling. This minor prepares you for a career on the field or in the front office and complements a number of majors in the Health and Human Sciences Division. It is also one of the concentrations offered in the versatile Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies (B.I.S.) degree.
You’ll develop a strong foundation in the study of the human body and be well-equipped for a career as a health instructor, rehabilitation specialist, fitness instructor, conditioning coach, research scientist – or to pursue additional studies in a professional or other graduate program.
