International students are assigned a student success coach to guide them through their education and to serve as a mentor as you get accustomed to our community. McMurry is located in Abilene, Texas, a mid-sized city of 125,000 with a great downtown scene, low-cost of living, and close proximity to major metro cities in Texas.

Full-time undergraduate students are charged a block tuition rate and may take 12 to 18 semester hours without affecting the cost of tuition. Students must have the approval of the Vice President of Academic Affairs to take more than 18 hours a semester.

Indirect Costs that are additional personal costs that may be incurred while attending the University and are not charged to the student. Total indirect costs per year are estimated at $4,812. This includes transportation, personal costs, and average loan fees. Required books are included in the cost of tuition.

Scholarships
International undergraduate students may be eligible for merit scholarships based on their secondary school GPA, test scores, or transferable college GPA. Scholarships range from $15,000 – $17,000 and are renewable for four years. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis after admission. Post-baccalaureate students seeking a second degree are not eligible for institutional merit scholarships.
Interested international undergraduate students are encouraged to apply for the McMurry University Honors program. International students who are accepted into the honors program may receive additional aid. Eligible students may submit Honors applications through the application portal after being admitted.
