McMurry University will close at 3 p.m. on Friday, January 23, due to winter weather conditions. Visitors should postpone campus visits. Additional updates will be shared as conditions develop.

Hours of Operation

Monday–Thursday: 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Closed daily from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for lunch
Friday–Sunday: Closed

If you require medical attention outside of clinic hours, please get in touch with your preferred healthcare provider or visit one of the local urgent care clinics or emergency rooms listed below.

Please note: Individuals are responsible for any medical charges incurred. For non-urgent concerns, you may submit a Clinic Intake Form, and a member of the University Clinic staff will follow up on the next business day.


Clinic Services

  • Minute Clinic Services: Evaluation and treatment of common conditions, including respiratory and gastrointestinal illnesses. Prescriptions are provided when clinically appropriate.
  • On-Site Testing: COVID-19, influenza, strep, mononucleosis, urinary tract infection (UTI), and pregnancy testing.

Patients may be referred to off-campus providers as needed. This clinic does not offer laboratory services, imaging (such as X-rays), or other advanced diagnostic tests.

Emergency Warning Signs

  • You have a head injury with ANY of these symptoms: Headache, Dizziness, Nausea/Vomiting, were ever unconscious, lethargic or uncoordinated, confused, or any other symptom that is out of the ordinary for the injured person.
  • Have difficulty breathing for any reason
  • Have a temperature of 101.0 or higher with abdominal pain, rash, stiff neck, or any unexplained symptoms (DO NOT GO TO CLASS!!!)
  • Possible alcohol poisoning – DO NOT TRY TO SLEEP IT OFF OR WAIT UNTIL MORNING
  • Severe headache with high fever and/or stiff neck
  • Broken bone or suspicion of broken bone
  • Severe pain in the abdomen or severe unexplained pain anywhere
  • Have been involved in a car accident

Health Concerns Requiring Medical Evaluation

  • Have had diarrhea for over 24 hours or have vomited and diarrhea at the same time (DO NOT GO TO CLASS)
  • Have other injuries or illnesses that are of concern to the student
  • Have a temperature of 101.0 (DO NOT GO TO CLASS)
  • Have an eye injury
  • Have a productive cough with yellow, green, or red sputum
  • Have been bitten by an animal
