Purpose of Brady Cox endowment funds: Endowment funds should fund activities that enrich the education of pre-health professional students and broaden their experience and preparation for a prosperous future as health care professionals. The maximum award is $250.

Who is eligible?
According to the McMurry Catalog, Students working with a faculty member to complete a Pre- Athletic Training, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Dental, Pharmacy, Medical, or Veterinary track. Students interested in pursuing a health-related profession can receive endowment funds regardless of their major.
How will funds be disbursed?
Depending on the type of expense:
- The supervising faculty member may use their credit card to cover expenses up to the total amount awarded.
- If the student incurs the cost and exceeds the amount awarded, the supervising faculty member may request a reimbursement check for the student in the total amount awarded.
- If the student incurs the costs and spends less than the amount awarded, they may be reimbursed up to the amount paid.
- The student and supervising faculty will work together to collect and document all expenses to be reimbursed up to the total amount awarded.
Application & Follow-Up Process

Download the application form, complete it thoroughly, and submit it to your supervising faculty member. - Faculty Review
Your supervising faculty member will notify you of approval and coordinate the most effective way to distribute funds and manage expenses. - Post-Activity Requirements
After completing the activity or trip, you are responsible for submitting the following within one week of completion:

- Thank You Card: Write a card addressed to the Brady Cox family. Cards may be picked up and dropped off in the STEM Student Success Center (Jay-Rollins Library, First Floor).
- Reflection Page: Submit a brief typed reflection responding to the following prompt:
“Please explain what you learned by participating in the recently attended event. How did the Brady Cox Endowment funds contribute to making your experience meaningful and enjoyable?”
You may hand-deliver the reflection page to the STEM Student Success Center or email it to mcmurrys3c@mcm.edu.
