Student Event Planning Made Simple

Follow these steps to ensure your event is approved and successful.

Make sure your group is an officially recognized campus organization. Each organization must submit the required documentation to MSG to maintain recognized status.

All student organizations, faculty, and staff must complete the Event Request Form to schedule campus events. This form ensures your event is properly scheduled, supported, and promoted.

Fill this out only if you plan to sell items, set up vendors, or collect donations at your event.

Submit a Application

Officially recognized student organizations can apply for funding through the MSG Funding Request Form. Be sure to complete the required event/fundraiser forms first.

Accomplishments

  • Introduce new campus traditions
  • Campus lighting improvements (holiday and regular lighting)
  • Adding Vending Machines in every residence hall
  • Cross-Walk Safety Lights
  • Help design and pick out furniture for the new campus center
  • Address and fix maintenance and residence life issues

Goals

  • Better Student Engagement
  • Maintain Communication Between Students, Faculty, and Staff
  • Improve campus morale, as well as create a variety of ways for students to express their thoughts and opinions on campus life.
