**Two years of high school credit in a single foreign language waives the BS language requirement. If foreign language requirement is waived, any other area of interest may be completed for minimum degree hours. Students who do not have this high school credit will be required to take 8 hours of a single foreign language at McMurry. Students who graduated from high school prior to 2019 do not have a foreign language requirement for the BS degree.
