This bachelor’s teaches advanced mathematics and the practical skills you’ll need to manage a classroom.

Minor in Curriculum and Instruction Required

Students will declare a major in a subject area which will then be supported with a minor in Curriculum and Instruction for students seeking teaching certification.

Bachelor of Science in Mathematics

Minor in Mathematics

A minor allows a student the opportunity to add training in another discipline in addition to a major.

The minor in mathematics requires 19 hours of introductory and advanced mathematics classes. The curriculum, which includes a wide range of electives, complements many degrees so that you can focus your major and career objectives.

You’ll graduate with a solid basis in both mathematics and education, including practical classroom management and student relations skills. Graduates with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics grades 7-12 have become teachers in middle and high school and college professors, as well as financial modeling specialists.
