Discovery Trips
Discovery trips are a unique opportunity for McMurry University students to increase their awareness of career possibilities by visiting organizations, exploring various industries and careers, and engaging with professionals.
Join the Career & Experiential Learning Center on a Discovery Trip (local or non-local). This is FREE OF CHARGE TO MCMURRY STUDENTS!
On these trips, you have the ability to: tour facilities, shine a light on experiences in this industry, answer questions during a Q&A, and learn about opportunities to connect with the organizations we visit regarding internships, job opportunities, experience, and connect professionally.
McMurry students are able to participate at any time but ideally, these are taken during their sophomore year to prepare students for that exploration process so that going into their final years at McMurry they have a clearer picture on routes and paths they are interested in.
To register for these trips check out Handshake to see when the next one is taking place!
