McMurry is one of the most affordable private schools in the nation.

Time and time again, we hear alumni say that their McMurry education was a good investment. What makes this true?  The McMurry community. The individuals who study, teach and work here are passionate about creating change in the communities where we live and work. This passion translates into a supportive academic experience where students learn how to chase their dreams, examine our complex world from multiple perspectives, achieve their goals with the help of others, and use the learning to gain professional success. Pair this academic experience with a community where differences are celebrated, and the results are graduates prepared for meaningful and successful lives and careers.

McMurry's Community Commitment Program

In times of crisis, our frontline workers continually demonstrate their courage and commitment through their actions — serving and prioritizing others’ needs over themselves. McMurry appreciates these essential heroes and provides financial support for their families.

The Community Commitment program offers at least half tuition for new undergraduates whose families have chosen careers in service. Students qualify if they or a parent, legal guardian, or spouse is currently employed full-time in public service, as a first responder, in education, healthcare, or ministry, or with a nonprofit may qualify regardless of their major.

This important scholarship honors those who chose selfless service above self, which is in McMurry University’s DNA.
